What does Leona actually do?
Leona is built for you and your family. She'll know your kids' names and ages, the values you share, what you tried last week, what worked. She holds the mental load of motherhood so you don't have to remember it all yourself.
Is Leona a doctor?
No. Leona is a thoughtful companion, not a medical professional. For anything medical (fevers, rashes, behaviors that worry you), your pediatrician is the right call.
Is this safe in an emergency?
No. If you're in a real emergency, call 911. For mental health emergencies, call or text 988. For poison concerns, Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222. Leona is for the everyday: the 2 AM questions, the daily decisions, the gut-checks.
What does Leona remember about my family?
Your kids' names and ages, the values you share with her, the patterns she picks up from your conversations. You can see all of it on your memory page and delete anything you want.
Can I delete my data?
Yes, anytime. Every fact Leona remembers has a small × next to it. Click it and it's gone, including from her future conversations with you.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your conversations are not used to train Anthropic's models or any other AI. They stay private to your account.
Who built this?
Terra and Marcus, a wife-and-husband team. Terra named this product after her grandmother Leonarda. Leonarda was the inspiration; she's not the AI. We're a mom and a dad ourselves, and we built this because we needed it.
How is this different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT starts fresh every time and doesn't know anything about your family. Leona remembers your kids' names, your values, and your situation, and shapes every answer around what she knows about you.
How much does it cost?
It's free during early access. We're focused on getting it right before we think about pricing.
Can my partner use the same account?
For now, accounts are individual. We're working on shared family accounts. In the meantime, you and your partner can each sign up and share what works.
When is SMS coming?
We're building it. Soon Leona will be available by text. Same memory, same conversations, just available from your messages app.
What if Leona gets something wrong about my family?
Tell her directly in the conversation: "actually, his birthday is May 4th, not March 4th," and she'll update. Or go to your memory page and edit/delete it there.
